Tips for Potty
Training a Puppy
When you are unable to watch
your puppy, keep the puppy in a kennel, preferably a small kennel. The small
kennel will help prevent accidents inside their kennel.
Take the puppies outside 20-30
minutes after feedings and every 2 hours. Puppies have small bladders and are
unable to hold urine for more than 4 hours.
Feed puppies twice a day. Put
the food in the bowl and let them eat after they have eaten for about 10-15
minutes pick the food up. Do not leave food down for the puppy all day.
Always praise the puppy when
they have gone to potty outside.
The most important thing is being
consistent with food times and potty times. If you are not available to take
the puppy outside find a friend that may be willing to help you.
Good Luck!!!
